Rapper Pitbull threw his hat into the ring along with many others to save the famous Palm Beach International Raceway (PBIR).
“It is a real honor and a great opportunity to be part of this important effort to save the Palm Beach International Raceway. Bringing community and culture together to create generational experiences is invaluable,” said Pitbull, whose real name is Armando Christian Perez , in a statement.

The track, built in 1964, is synonymous with American racing. Recently, however, consideration has been given to demolishing the site to make way for a distribution warehouse.
